bands Bands BANDS!!

One of the things that I take pictures of the most is live bands. Most local but some a few of you might of heard of. So here are a couple of my favourite shots I took from the last years or two.

Hedley

These shots are of Jacob and Dave from the band Hedley. This was winter of 06-07. I am not too sure exactly when but it was at the Waterdown YMCA. I was luckey enough to push my way to about 3rd rowish, area.

Matthew Good

Matthew Good was one of the best nights of my life. It was at Massie (sp) Hall in Toronto Ontario. I went with my good friend Pete Moss. Matthew Good is one of the best song writers, and musicians that have ever came to the scene. If you ever get the chance to see him, DO IT.

Pete got to meet the one and only Matthew Good. I have never seen anyone more stoked to meet someone in my life.

City Kidz 2!

This is the band Faceless Tomorrow. (www.myspace.com/facelesstomorrow) They area very good local band from Hamilton. I really love the lighting in these pictures.

If you want a good show with great stage presence this is the band for you. This 3-piece band from Hamilton is called Sauce Rock-It, and they really no how to get the croud moving. www.myspace.com/saucerockit

If you are into the Hamilton metal scene then you have heard of this 3 piece band porcelain youth. Adam Cannon on drums, Dan Senuik on bass and Jesse Daigle on Volcals and Guitar make one of the best Hamilton local bands. At this show Porcelain Youth invited up 2 of the members of High Voltage and they did a cover song. This was a great set.

Porcelain Youth live Recording

Porcelain Youth did a live recording January of 08. It was just them playing for about an hour. It was one of the best py shows. They lighting was amazing and the croud LOVED it. Check out Porcelain Youth at http://www.porcelainyouth.com/

Starting Off.

Helllllloooo! Ive had this blog thing for a bit now, but was always to lazy to actully post on it. So here it goes, my new blog for my Photography. Please Constructive Critisism is always welcom.
Im going to start off with a few Still shots from around my house.

Midnight Fair

This is One of my favorites. I took over 100 pictures of this same thing, trying diffrent settings and lighting, i feel that this one was the best. I like how the lighting gives it a 3D feel. This is a Ferris Wheel I got when i was little. Look closly and you can see little bears!

Clownin' Around

I have also had this since i was little. This Guy was in my room when i was a baby... It used to give me nightmares. (I dont actully remeber but I would'nt be surprised. It does now!) I found this in my closet in my bacement. I love the facial expression, so I played around with some settings and got a great shot i feel brings out the emotion the best.

Exuse Me Sur, Do You Have The Time?

A lot of people seem to really like this one. A bunch of clocks, with a bit of Photoshop giving it kind of an Alice In Wounderland Feel. School Clocks in a bin, I HAD to jump on this and grap a quick picture. I sure am glad that I had my camera!
